First show of 2012!!

So Christmas came and went, and we're now ready to hit the road again and take the music to the masses. And we're really pleased to be able to start the year with a show at one of our favourite SW London venues, the majestic Grey Horse. We're playing there on Friday 20th January, and are on stage at 9pm (in case you didn't see the big poster on the home page of this very site!!). We've got a full set lined up (so nearly an hour of tunes!) and a few treats in store, so please come along and help us to help you to have a great evening. It's the perfect start to the weekend. Also, we'll be giving away copies of the single "Coming Around Again" to everyone who's there. So you'll have a little bit of Beyond Reason to take home with you. Price on the door is £5, which is amazing value for 3 top bands in one evening. It's finally OUT!!

In case you've missed all the shows / announcements / e-mails and Facebook updates recently, we're very, very happy to tell you that today, Monday 26th September 2011, Beyond Reason release their debut single, "Coming Around Again". You can download it for the very reasonable price of £0.79p / $0.99c from iTunes, Amazon MP3 and from CD Baby, and there's direct links to the relevant online retail outlet on the home page. If you want to review the single as well then please feel free - we're happy to hear your comments. To say we're excited is an understatement. If you like the song, and you've been to any of the shows recently and enjoyed them, then please, please, PLEASE tell your friends and other music loving colleagues to check out the single, and also to come along to our next show in London in October (details of which will be announced this week). BR on the DAB

Well, it's finally happened. On Saturday 17th September we were huddled around the DAB in the studio, waiting for our single to be aired on the Aaron Phillips' Saturday Rock Show on Amazing Radio. And, at about 7:45pm, Aaron put the CD in the deck and it boomed out via the magic of radio (and we can't describe the buzz of seeing the band and the song title coming across on the DAB text!!). If you haven't already heard it, then please do click through from the home page and take a listen. We were extremely well recieved. Thanks to everyone who's been to the shows, and to everyone who's ever said nice things about us (and not-so-nice things actually. They all have their place...). We're looking forward to "officially" launching the single next Saturday at The Bowery in London. If you haven't pre-registered to get in cheaper then please do so. We're SOOO fired up to give you guys a great rock show that it's not true. See you at The Bowery!

Set your alarm - Saturday 17th September @ 6pm...

This weekend (on Saturday 17th, repeated on Tuesday 20th) our debut single is recieving it's first radio airplay on DAB digital radio station Amazing Radio. We've been picked for the playlist of The Amazing Rock Show, hosted by Aaron Phillips, and we're very proud and excited. If you can please listen in, tweet about it and send Aaron some nice e-mails saying that you really, really liked it. We'd appreciate that. Oh, and don't forget that we're playing a show the following week at The Bowery in London. Rehearsals are going GREAT and it's gonna be a hell of a show! We'll be huddled around the radio this Saturday evening. Hopefully you can join us. Cheers, and thanks (in advance) for listening.

A very special thanks to a very special guest
Just before we get carried away with all the work we're doing promoting the single, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank the amazing musician that is Sarah Mallock. If you take a listen to the clip of the new single (in the media section of the site, where you can also find out a bit more about her and the amazing range of artists she's played with) you'll hear some fantastic violin that adds something really special to the song. Sarah has played live with us on a few occasions, and we're hoping that she's also going to make a very special guest appearance at one of the shows during the month of September. It's nearly time...

So it's nearly here: Monday 26th September 2011. This is the official launch date of our debut single. You may have seen the little countdown timer on the home page...

Anyway, we're currently working with our PR and plugging agency to get it out to as many radio stations, magazines and website as possible. We want people to hear it and (we hope) like it. And we're supporting the release with a couple of shows in September in some great venues. So please take a look at the gig section of the website and come along. We'd love to see you there.
